Rmseed gained on short covering after prices dropped due to improvement in arrivals in physical and lower than expected buying by NAFED.
NAFED purchased nearly 3.37 lakh tons of mustard seeds in Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh.
India's 2018-19 mustard seeds output is projected at 8.4 million tons-a record.
In Alwar spot market in Rajasthan the prices dropped -90.15 Rupees to end at 3819 Rupees per 100 kg.
